Hello, friends! It’s Jana Eubank here to share a little holiday cheer using inspiring products from Honey Bee Stamps.
Are you looking to add Christmas spirit to an unloved corner or shelf? Why not create a few decorations using your craft supplies? I altered a trio of small shadow boxes using dies and patterned paper from Honey Bee Stamps to create this super-sweet, snowy Christmas scene.

Supplies | Honey Bee Stamps: Alice’s Gingerbread Village die set, Christmas Cookies die set, Mini Holiday Florals die set, Sprinkled with Joy 4×4 Stamps, Sprinkled with Joy dies, North Pole Cardstock paper pad, Peppermint Ice Clay Pieces; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Adhesive; Other: Diamond Dots, white glitter, red buttons, white twine, small shadow boxes, white acrylic paint, die-cutting machine
I picked up these shadow boxes from a big box craft store last year and thought they would be so much fun to alter for the holidays. I began by painting the frames white with acrylic paint and adding patterned cardstock from the Honey Bee North Pole Cardstock paper pad to the background. I created a few snowy hills for my gingerbread houses to sit on by hand-cutting them from white cardstock.

There are three different houses in the Alice’s Gingerbread Village die set, and to my delight, each one fit inside my shadow boxes perfectly! After die-cutting and assembling each house, I sugared them up with white glitter, then decorated them with peppermint clay candies and Diamond Dot gems. I felt like I was creating a real Gingerbread Village right in my kitchen, it was so much FUN! I also added glitter to the trees cut using the same die set.

I used the snowman, gingerbread people, snowflake, and holly from the Christmas Cookies die set to add details to each scene. I also added a few stamped and die-cut sentiments from the Honey Bee Sprinkled with Joy 4×4 stamp set and cedar sprigs from the Mini Holiday Florals die set.

I love the way these little shadow boxes came together and they were so much FUN to create! There are so many possibilities with these cute products from the Honey Bee Stamps Cozy Christmas release. I can’t wait to try using them to create gift tags, cards, ornaments, and more this season!
