12 Days of Holiday Giving – Day 2!

Good morning SCT friends! Thank you for joining us to for Day 2 of our 12 Days of Holiday Giving and thank you for all the amazing holiday memories you shared! We loved reading them and hope you’ll continue to share more memories. “Thank you so much for joining me today for day 2 of our 12 Days Of Holiday Giving. Whenever I look through holiday photos from years gone by, I can’t help but reminisce just a bit.

A favorite holiday memory of mine is our first Christmas morning together, as a family a four. My son, Justin, was beyond excited opening the many gifts that Santa had left under the tree for him.  He was equally excited though, to help out by opening the presents that Santa had left for his baby sister.  After opening one for himself, he’d find one with Shailyn’s name on it, tear open the wrapping and sweetly inform her as to what it was, what it was used for etc. I can’t help but smile as I recall his sweet affection towards her, as she slept through the entire morning looking adorable in her little red Santa hat.

The photo that I used on today’s layout is a favorite that was taken on Christmas Day a few years back. It captures my daughter’s personality perfectly…very sweet, but you can clearly see a glimpse of her mischievous side. I couldn’t resist printing it BIG, and allowing it to take center stage.

Crate Paper’s “FALALA” collection compliments it perfectly, and made this layout come together so quick and easily. I have to admit though, I’m especially partial to Christmas collections that include shades of pink. :)
