It’s day three of our Birthday Week blog celebration! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun, and we certainly are here—sharing inspiration and giving away amazing prizes from our partners! Today creative team member Mindy Eggen is sharing flowers for our birthday—in card form! Let’s take a look!

Welcome, everyone! It’s Mindy and I’m so excited to be joining you today celebrating Birthday Week with SCT!

Do you know someone who loves flowers? Instead of sending them flowers, how about a card with beautiful floral designs that they can keep indefinitely? Pinkfresh Studio has just the ones for you!

Supplies | Stamps/Dies/Stencils: Pinkfresh Studio; Cardstock: Lawn Fawn; Adhesive: Thermoweb, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Embellishments: Pinkfresh Studio

If your recipient prefers a simple design, try the Rustic Floral Wreath. With the beautiful assortment of inks that Pinkfresh Studio offers, you can customize this to the person’s favorite colors.

The wreath draws attention to the center of the card which is the perfect place for a sentiment. The Classic Word Die Set is super versatile and can be used not only for birthdays but lots of other occasions as well.

If you struggle with the placement of jewels and embellishments, add them right to the center of the flowers!

If the recipient is more into larger flowers, the Choose Hope set is a perfect fit. You can choose from stamping the image or using the stencil to add layers to your florals. For an even better match, use both the stamp and stencil set!

Dress up your cards with sparkle! Stamp a background like the Sweet Blooms to colored cardstock, heat emboss in sparkle embossing powder, and add just a touch of ink blending on the sides. It’s a very subtle look that pulls your eye into the center of the card where your floral image is placed.

A great way to add some flare to a simple design is by die-cutting the sentiment from holographic cardstock. Then, to not overpower the sentiment or card design, add the shadow layer of the sentiment using vellum. It adds just the right amount of softness.

What a great way to send birthday wishes that they can treasure for years to come!
