Welcome to day two of our 19th Birthday Week celebration! Today we have another not-to-miss process video to share with you from Charlene Madrid. You will want to watch how she put together the amazing pop-up birthday card in her post using the latest products from Lawn Fawn! And don’t forget to leave a comment on this post to win one of three giveaways up for grabs! Let’s get right to the fun!

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Charlene from Dream Craft Create, and I’m thrilled to share a fun project with you today. In celebration of Scrapbook & Cards Today’s 19th birthday, I have created a delightful pop-up card featuring the adorable Spring Basket stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn. This card is perfect for spring birthdays or Easter celebrations, and I just love how it turned out!

Supplies | Lawn Fawn: Spring Basket Stamps, Spring Basket Lawn Cuts, Spring Basket Coloring Stencils, Spring Basket Add-On: Birthday Stamps, Platform Pop-Up, Bitsy Blooms Petite Paper Pack, Black Licorice Cardstock; My Sweet Petunia: Mini MISTI, Precision Glue Press; Altenew: 9″x12″ Ultra Sticky Mat: Grid, Mini Blending Brush Set (Flat Bristles), Detailed Blending Brush Set (Angled Bristles), Ranger Ink Distress Ink: (Tumbled Glass, Wilted Violet, Mustard Seed, Kitsch Flamingo, Brushed Corduroy, Spiced Marmalade, Walnut Stain, Lost Shadow); Stickles: Glitter Glue Twinkle; Hero Arts: Intens-ified Black Ink Pad; Concord & 9th: Sprout Cardstock, Aqua Sky Cardstock; Rabbit Hole Designs: Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool; Honey Bee Stamps: Bee Creative Reverse Tweezers; WOW!: Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad, Opaque Bright White Super Fine Embossing Powder; Scrapbook Adhesives: 3D White Foam Squares
The Spring Basket stamp set is overflowing with adorable options! To start, I stamped multiple baskets and Easter-themed decorations using Intens-ified Black Ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and then placed the delicate die-cuts on my trusty Ultra Sticky Mat. This simple step is a total game-changer – it keeps all the tiny pieces organized and prevents them from getting lost, making the entire crafting process much smoother!
Using the coordinating Spring Basket stencils, I colored in the images with Distress Ink and my blending brushes. I love how the stencils make it easy to add color and detail to the images. To add a touch of sparkle, I used Twinkle Stickles to embellish the small hearts and centers of the bows. This is a great way to add a little extra something to your projects without overwhelming the design.

Next, I created the platform pop-up base using the Platform Pop-Up dies and paper from the Bitsy Blooms paper pack. I added die-cut decorative panels, grass, and bow details to make things extra special! The Platform Pop-Up is a fantastic way to add dimension and visual interest to your cards. I made sure to score the folds carefully and create a crisp crease. This helps the platform lie flat when the card is closed. The best part? This platform pop-up fits into a regular A2-sized envelope!

With the platform complete, I arranged the colored Spring Basket images and adhered them to the platform. I started by placing the bunny basket in the center front of the platform, adding the remaining two baskets and decorations behind and to the sides. To finish the card, I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I adhered the sentiment next to the front basket, and my card was complete!

A Chocolate Fantasy Cake from a local bakery. It’s the best chocolate cake ever!!
Publix Chantilly cake.
This was an easy question, homemade chocolate cake with boiled icing. It is something my grandmother would make for birthdays. I often make this cake for myself on my birthday. I love the cake but also the memories associated with it of my grandma and Dad. (I was Dad’s favourite birthday cake too.)
That’s a lot of work done with love, Charlene, but it is seriously the cutest card ever and something that can be reused as a tabletop decoration every year! And it fits in an A2 envie! Win, win, win! I also love Lynnea’s sweet macaroon design! As for my cake? Carrot cake, please! Hugs, Darnell
I just had a birthday and hubby’s sweet daughter gave us a cake sampler with 4 different kinds of cake. My favorite treat would be mud pie and for cake I’d love to have angel food cake with carmel topping. Such generous sponsors! Love the box card!
Absolutely love the detail of this pop up!
What a huge inspiration today! Carrot cake is my birthday cake of choice, just skip the pineapple and coconut please.

Sfoglia cake with strawberries and fresh whip cream/custard
Any kind of cake is great, but for my birthday, a local bakery makes my favourite Filipino cake: an Ube macapuno cake! So good and not too sweet. Just perfect to eat!
Black Forest Cake. My mother in law always used to make this for me.
My favourite birthday cake – a difficult decision… Store bought is a traditional Black Forest cake from our local German bakery and homemade is my grandmother’s chocolate layer cake with homemade raspberry jam filling and classic chocolate butter cream icing (a family tradition!). Love the card idea! I think I’ll be making some for the grandkids for Easter 😀
Carrot cake is my all- time favourite!!
My next birthday cake – homemade lemon Bundt cake with icing made from powdered sugar.
I’m loving Charlene’s pop up card, so fun! I hope those are chocolate eggs in the basket, because my favorite cake is always Chocolate Mousse!
Nothing says “Birthday” like cake! I would love to have a carrot cake and my next birthday! 🎈🎉
What a fun card. No one ever goes wrong by making or getting me a chocolate cake (especially with boiled frosting like I grew up having), but I also like a good carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
Mmmmm cake! I’m a huge fan of a homemade chocolate cake with chocolate icing. It doen’st have to be fancy… just good chocolatey awesomeness!
My friend Rhonda K introduced me to this BEST EVER CAKE! Chocolate cake – custard filling and whipped cream frosting! YUM!!!
Happy 19th Birthday! The project today is awesome! The giveaways are incredible! With my BD at Christmas time and usually having Christmas cookies instead of cake. But I would love a chocolate cherry gluten free cake!
I love a really good black forest cake, mmmmm!

My birthday is quickly approaching. I love white cake with fresh strawberries. That will be my request. Now, a close second is chocolate. I will not complain with whatever kind my family has for me.

The answer is chocolate….always chocolate!!!
WOW! I love Charlene’s work but this card may be my favorite I’ve seen. Love that little bow die cut. Oh shoot, I’m a sucker for sweet. I love a good devils food cake with milk chocolate icing or a good cheese cake.
My go to birthday cake is a Baskin Robbins chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream
