Lisa Dickinson

Lisa Dickinson

Lisa Dickinson is a graphic designer living in Colorado with her husband, two kids, and a menagerie of four-legged creatures. She was introduced to scrapbooking in 1998 after attending a Creative Memories party. Her first scrap project was an album documenting her tropical honeymoon, complete with fish-shaped photos and countless sheets of stickers! In the years following, her style evolved and she had her first layout published in Simple Scrapbooks magazine in 2003. Since then, she has contributed to several magazines and manufacturer design teams, as well as authoring the book Design Workshop from Ella Publishing.

When she’s not scrapping, Lisa fosters dogs for a local rescue, frequents antique shops, and is constantly on the hunt for the perfect rosé wine.

Where is the first place you look for inspiration?

Magazines—my favorites are Real Simple and In Style.

Paige Evans

My name is Paige Evans and I have been scrapbooking since I was 16 years old when I got my very first job at a little local scrapbook store in Redmond, Washington. I’ve been scrapbooking over half my life and love it as much today as I did back then. I have 9 signature scrapbooking collections with Pink Paislee with a 10th in the works. I love teaching how to create eye-catching layouts as well as coptic bookbinding courses. I live in the suburbs of Denver with my husband of 12 years, our son Fox, and daughter Jane, as well as a menagerie of pets. I love to create something every day!

When did you start papercrafting and how did it come about?

My very first job was at a local scrapbook store when I was 16 years old – the first time I played with papers & stickers I was hooked!

Nicole Nowosad

Nicole Nowosad

Nicole lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada with her husband and three children. When not working full-time, or driving her kids between activities, Nicole can be found doing something creative, including creating digital cut files for JustNick and for Scrapbook & Cards Today. Nicole has been in the industry for several years and you may recognize her from a variety of design teams including Jillibean Soup, Simple Stories, Doodlebug Design and more. Nicole has been an educator for Crop & Create events across Canada for several years and has a few online classes with Big Picture Scrapbooking and PageMaps University.  Nicole’s projects are full of colour and usually loads of pattern too! She loves to share her love for patterned paper, layering and her tips for mixing patterned paper to create fun and unique scrapbooking projects.

What is your favourite colour combination to craft with? To decorate with?

Teal or Aqua somehow usually shows up on every project that I create. That and a little touch of black to ground out the other colors in my project. I love bright and bold colors and patterns, so the black helps ground it.
