Hope you had an amazing Summer holiday filled with sunshine, laughter and fun! Our family spends most of the time on the water and I wanted to share a page I created using Basic Grey’s Adrift collection. This nautical collection is a perfect backdrop to record our days on the lake. I wanted to use this ocean pattern paper for my page but the ocean titles printed on the paper were out of place with my photo so I just strategically covered them up with some embellishments. In an instant the continental land/ocean images now resemble the little islands/lakes you would find in Georgian Bay, Ontario.
Next time when you are on the fence about using a certain pattern paper, just do a little ‘embellishing’ and no one will know otherwise!
