We’ll be here all day celebrating with you, and we hope you’ll join us. The Scrapbook & Cards Today design team will be sharing layouts they’ve created inspired by cards and layouts that have appeared in our Inspiration Gallery in previous issues. Who knows? Maybe one of them will be inspired by one of YOUR amazing designs! And what's a party without prizes right? All our partners are joining us to share in the day by offering some amazing PRIZES each hour! Exciting!
OK! All set in your happy place and ready to create? We’re giving you a challenge to begin with. Sketches are the perfect jumping off point when you’re in need of ideas or mojo. It’s likely you have events that NEED to span two pages, so here’s your first bit of inspiration!
Challenge details: Create a two-page layout patterned after the sketch you see above. You can be direct in your interpretation if you like, but don’t be afraid to take creative license because there are no rules in scrapbooking! It’s always fun to see how you put your stamp on things and make it your own. In the end, YOU are the one who should be satisfied with the end result.
If you take up our International Scrapbook Day kick off sketch challenge, you'll be entered to win one of our famous "mystery box" prize packages valued at over $100! And it's a good one! Just send an image of your entry to ideas@scrapbookandcards.com by Saturday, May 13th. Please put "INSD challenge" in your reference line and keep your entry image size under 2mb. We'll be posting some of the layouts we receive when we announce all the prize winners on Monday, May 15th!
