Hi everyone! It’s Cathy Zielske here today to share another clean and simple layout!
Supplies | Cut file: CZ Design; Patterned paper: Honeybee Stamps; Dies: Hero Arts; Cardstock, tape runner: Gina K. Designs; Foam adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Today’s page is all about using a cut file for a title—one of my favorite things to do lately! It’s so fun to size them to your liking, cut them out, and fill them in with your favorite patterned papers.
My journaling is short and sweet and all about one fine day in the life of our collegiate athlete (who has since graduated from college and is onto law school!)
One of the ways I find success in simple scrapbooking is to start with a limited set of supplies. That, and I’ll choose a paper pad collection that was designed to work together, like this “The Bee’s Knees” paper pad that I used from Honey Bee Stamps. That takes the guesswork out of whether or not they will match!
Aside from repeating the papers at the bottom, I also added one more tiny heart, for a little more repetition!
How have you used cut files recently in your layouts? Share with us in the comments below, or share on Instagram and tag @sctmagazine ! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Super cute as always. Just starting to use my Cricut more and love the adaptability to cut what I want or need on my layout.
Awesome page
Super gorgeous page! I admit I haven’t used cut files in any of my most recent layouts. I need to get back at it!
