Today we welcome Leslie Turner to the SCT blog to share a fun envelope mini album with you! It’s the perfect type of album that you can make today and fill with memories later—whether that is from a trip to the pumpkin patch, or a monthly album to record your entire October! Let’s take a look at Leslie’s creation!
This fall mini album is made from twelve 3″ x 4″ envelopes that I created with my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board using various fall-themed double-sided patterned papers! The envelopes can be handmade or pre-made, any size and any number of envelopes can be used, depending on the desired thickness.
I created several notched pockets with my We R Memory Keepers Pocket Punch Board and placed them randomly throughout the album, along with stitched oval and rectangle die cuts, punched acorns, and die cut leaves to embellish the front and inside pages. The notched pockets hold little tags to use for journaling or photos.
I affixed charms to a couple of the pages, and I adhered bamboo cord, twine, and gold cord inside the spine and added dangling charms for a little interest.
There’s plenty of room for journaling and adding photos. I can’t think of a better way to record those fun fall memories!
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my mini album. I hope it inspires you to create your own!
