Hello, friends! It’s Mindy Eggen with you today to share a few fun designs using the new Rainbow Stamp and die from SCT. I love creating rainbow cards because of all the beautiful colors. They are so bright and cheerful that you just can’t help but smile!

What I really enjoyed about this new stamp set is the coordinating dies. There are 7 dies that give endless color combination possibilities!

Another great thing about rainbows is it’s perfect for using up your scraps. I went for a full spectrum of the rainbow, but you could do all different shades of blues or reds.

You can create a clean and simple card or pair the rainbow with a cloudy stenciled background. I also happen to have a starry sky stencil from Lawn Fawn in which I ink blended a rainbow of distress oxide inks. This adds a subtle touch to the background without overpowering the card. Dreamy right?!

Rainbows also work well with patterned paper too. This sunshine paper from the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine Remix paper pack made a great background!

TIP: To help you easily arrange your rainbow on your card, adhere all the rainbow pieces to copy paper and trim out. By creating this base for my rainbow, I could then add multiple sets to the front of my card and attach Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares behind them for dimension.

Almost any sentiment works with rainbows and this stamp set has some beautiful encouragement sentiments. I thought the smaller sentiments would get lost on the busy background so I stamped and die cut the big hugs from Lawn Fawn’s Big Scripty Words stamp set.

I hope you were inspired by today’s cards and they brought a smile to your face like they do mine! Thank you so much for visiting today, and be sure to check out the new Rainbow Stamp and die in the SCT shop today while supplies last!
