A SCT Sampler Suite of Projects with Wendy Sue Anderson!

Hi friends! It’s Wendy Sue with you today, sharing a few projects I created with the brand new SCT November Sampler! 

This was the first opportunity I had to work with the SCT Sampler, and I absolutely loved it! If you aren’t familiar with these monthly packages, you’ll definitely want to learn more about this subscription—it is just what you might expect when you hear the word “sampler.” There were several 6” x 6” papers from a few different, but coordinating collections, a sampling of stickers, ephemera pieces, and other embellishments, plus an entire stamp set! It was really fun to work with products that I might not otherwise have the opportunity to mix and match! I created a layout and three cards to share with you today, but I still have plenty of product left over to create more, and I definitely WILL! 

On the layout, I used a few different patterned papers, washi tape, ephemera, and stickers. I even used one of the stamps to create a unique background for my page–isn’t that heart the cutest? The top and bottom of the page have a strip of washi tape.  I love how I was able to tie all the colors together with these two items from the Sampler.

I fussy cut the flowers and leaves that are tucked behind the top corner of my photo. Fussy cutting images is a great way to make DIY embellishments! 

Using several different styles of words is a fun way to tell the story without adding personal journaling – and adhering using foam adhesive is a great way to create dimension! 

Next, I created some cards, which the SCT Sampler is perfect for! I used one basic design for all three cards, and they came together so quickly and easily. Each card has different techniques and products, making them unique. 

 I loved adding the fussy-cut cameras to this card! 

This one was quick and easy with a few puffy stickers added for interest. 

It’s amazing what a stamped sentiment can do to really personalize a card!
