I could not wait to cut this out on my Silhouette Cameo and create something fun and colorful!

Supplies | Simple Stories Sunkissed Collection, Catherine Pooler Designs Ink, We R Memory Keepers Typewriter, Silhouette Cameo 3, Gina K Adhesive 

I went back and forth on what I wanted to cut the file out on but in the end, decided to go with my go-to American Crafts White Textured Cardstock. I also knew I would be using the same white cardstock for my background so I pulled out some of my Catherine Pooler Designs Inks to add some color to my file and background. 

The Simple Stories Sunkissed collection is so fun and colorful and has the cutest patterns. I used the 6×8 paper pad to back the cut file and I just love how it turned out!

For the rays of the sun, I used a sponge to add some ink to the ends for a pop of color. I used the same Catherine Pooler ink to add splatters to my background cardstock. I think this really helps the cut file stand out from the white background. The ink splatters in the background are very easy to create and is my go-to technique for adding color to layouts!
