Hello! It’s Virginia here to share with you a couple of cards I made using the deer punch by EK Success. As fellow paper crafters I know that you totally get my ‘geeky’ admission on how much I swoon over this great punch, ha!
The nature & woodlands themes is timeless and I can see so many uses for this punch. For this Valentines day card I played up the buck and doe theme. The doe is created by just trimming off the antlers. I also tripled layered the shapes so that it would have the effect of thin chipboard for added dimension.
I know we just wrapped up the Christmas season but you can never go wrong in getting a jumpstart on your cards! Here I used the punch to mimic Rudolph leading the pack of reindeer friends.
Just punch out the deer shape in different tones of brown card stock, layer them and add a little red enamel dot for Rudolph’s nose!
Hope this inspires you to dig out your punches, have a won-deer-ful day!
