A zig zag punch + Virginia Nebel = perfect chevrons!

A zig zag punch + Virginia Nebel = perfect chevrons!

October greetings!  I love border punches and when I
first saw this EK punch on the store shelf I immediately snagged it because I
was in search of a zig zag edger.  With much anticipation I tried it out
and then realized it was not an edge punch but an actual punch out (yes,
totally my fault in not reading the packing correctly!).  I have to admit
I was a little deflated but after a few punches my buyer’s remorse instantly
took a turn for the better.  This punch is awesome in cutting out the cute
chevron borders so clean,  exact and precise- I love it!!  Here are a
few cards I made using this punch:

Use up your pattern paper bits to make chevron borders as a
quick way to dress up your card:

Use the punch in the middle of a card mat to make a fun
slots and tuck a banner through it:

I couldn’t resist using the borders to make this fun spider,
so easy peasy!

Supplies: EK Success zig zag chain punch, Theresa Collins pattern paper (card 1 and 2), DCWV pattern paper (card 3)

Have a wonderful day!

This is so cute! And more useful than the 12″ zig zag border that I own, which can NOT do that slotted opening like you have on the 50 card above, which I love! Great way to be creative with something you didn’t initially think would work for you!
