Add “star” quality to your Father’s Day card with Virginia Nebel!

Add “star” quality to your Father’s Day card with Virginia Nebel!

With Father’s Day coming up this weekend here is a quick way to add a little ‘star’ quality to your masculine cards.  Glassine bags are super popular these days and I love how they add that extra special of texture and sheen to both cards and scrapbook pages.

For my card I used a fun star border and cut through both layers of the glassine bag, I then trimmed the other end to make a sleeve to slip over the pattern paper, and that’s it!- easy peasy!!

For an extra fun twist, run the glassine bag through a dry embossing folder or try this with patterned glassine bags!

Have a wonderful day,

I have not tried this before but it looks like a lot of fun and a great way to add more texture to cards and scrapbook pages too!
