Hello friends and welcome to Adhesive Week here on the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog! This is Victoria and today, I am sharing a super simple technique using ZOTS Bling Clear Adhesive Dots by Therm O Web!  If you enjoy adding a touch of sparkle to your layouts, this technique is for you!

Supplies | Hello Today by Simple Stories; ZOTS Bling Clear Adhesive Dots – Mini and Small; WOW! Gold Glitter by American Crafts

Using adhesives as a design tool offers endless opportunities to create fun accents and embellishments on a scrapbook layout or card project. Adhesive dots are available in a variety of sizes from mini to large. For this project, I am pairing ZOTS Adhesive Dots with WOW! Gold Glitter from American Crafts to add a touch of bling to a scrapbook layout.

To begin, I used patterned papers and embellishments from the Simple Stories Hello Today Collection to create a 12” x 12” layout called Life in Focus. The background features a layered patterned paper element that anchors my framed 3.5” x 5.5” inch photos.

Using die cuts and cardstock stickers from the collection, I created clusters of layered embellishments around the framed photos. Once all of these elements were in place, it was time to add a touch of shine using a ZOTS Adhesive Dots and WOW! Gold Glitter.

TIP: Be sure to position all of the primary page elements on your project first, like photos and layered clusters, before adding accents to your page. In doing so, you can see exactly where you have space to add finishing accents.

Once the primary elements are in place, I added ZOTS Bling Adhesive Dots around the layered clusters. Next, I sprinkled a small amount of WOW! Gold Glitter directly on the glue dots, rubbing the glitter into each glue dot with my finger and tapping off the excess glitter on a piece of scrap paper.

This simple technique is perfect for adding a bit of sparkle and shine to a scrapbook project, and a great way to use your adhesive dots in a new way!
