Hello SCT friends! This is Mindy and I’m here to share with you inspiration using the SCT-exclusive Beautiful You stamp and die set! Take a look at the stamp:

The Beautiful You stamp is a great image to color, but I was in the mood to do a little ink blending. So I grabbed a rainbow assortment of ink colors from Concord & 9th, my Altenew large flat blending brushes, and got to work.

Have you checked out the SCT shop? It has some amazing products including super-smooth exclusive 80-pound cover cardstock, which I used for my ink blending today!

I used the SCT Magazine-exclusive 80-pound cardstock and ink blended with the following inks: Sweet PeaClementineHoneycombAqua Sky, and Harbor. The overlapping of the colors will give me a beautiful shade of green and purple.

Combining Concord & 9th inks with the white cardstock is like the chef’s kiss—it gives you blending perfection!

I took the large image from the stamp set and stamped it onto my background using Versafine Ink. Since I like to leave a nice border around my panel, I trimmed this down to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ after the ink was dry. Versafine stays wet a little longer than most inks.

I thought I’d change it up a little and instead of attaching it to a white panel which is what I normally would do, I opted for ivory cardstock.

For the sentiment, I die-cut it from white cardstock and layered it up a few times for dimension. I really debated about doing the die-cut sentiment from a sparkle or gold cardstock but thought the white would pop off the card a little better.  The smaller sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then, I trimmed it down to a thin strip using the Sentiment Strips from Gina K Designs.

After adding sentiments to my card front, I embellished it with Bits & Pieces Drip Drops from Taylored Expressions. I like to use my Pick and Stick Tool and Connect Glue in a fine-tip bottle to attach my embellishments.

What a bright and colorful card and so simple to create if you are not in the mood to color in a stamped image! I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
