Howdy all! Ally here and I’m your hostess for Card Café Thursday! Today I’m going to share a fun card video tutorial on how to make a free-standing pop-up card!
Today I’m featuring some fun stamps and stencils from My Favorite Things along with some cool dies from Spellbinders. I hope you enjoy this video tutorial!
And here is a peek of the back of the card again for you…
Supplies: Stamps: My Favorite Things (My Tail Wags for You, I Knead You), Stencil: My Favorite Things (Circle Grid), Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! (Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Basic Black), Dies: Spellbinders (Long Classic Rectangles, Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles, Hearts, Scalloped Hearts), Inks: Memento (Tuxedo Black), Clearsnap (Colorbox Frost White)
Your basic supplies for this card are:
- sturdy cardstock
- a paper trimmer
- a scoring board/blade
- strong adhesive
- craft knife
- ribbon
Here are the measurements you will need: card base – 11”x4 ¼”, tag – 5 ¼”x 3 ⅛”
Score your card base at:
1”, 2 ¾”, 3 ¾”, 5 ½” and then rotate it 90˚ and score again at 1”, 2 ¾” and 3 ¾”.
I hope I’ve inspired you today to make a fun and easy interactive card to send to someone special! Happy creating every one!
