Hi everyone! Jill Foster here and I’m honored to share a pair of cards as part of this week’s Card Café Thursday feature!

Penny Black Supplies: 50-010 Delicate Wings, 51-029 Interlocking, 51-039 Feather & Frames, 51-040 Hello Frame, 4376K Hollyhocks, 40-312 Sunny Pair, 30-229 Special Wishes, 30-207 From the Heart  Other: Ranger Archival Black Ink, Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper’s Big Brush Pens and Art GRIP Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils, White Color Pencil, Memento Luxe Wedding Dress Ink by Tsukineko

I don’t know about you, but I love adding dimension to my cards using dies.  I gathered up a few of my faves today including Penny Black’s Creative Dies 50-010 Delicate Wings, 51-029 Interlocking, 51-039 Feather & Frames, and 51-040 Hello Frame.

I stamped my large butterfly dies with Penny Black floral stamps, allowing the images to extend beyond the die cut.  For an artsy, watercolor look, I colored the images with a combination of markers and watercolor pencils.

A faux chalkboard background was easy to create—I simply used a white color pencil to draw an outline on black paper, added Memento Luxe Wedding Dress Ink around the edges using my fingertip, and then stamped my focal point image in black.

Finally, I layered all of my die cut pieces using dimensional adhesive and added them to a white notecard.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you’re inspired to die cut, stamp, and layer and until next time… hugs and happy stamping!
