Hello SCT friends! Today I’m here to share with you a few cards that I created. To be honest, cards didn’t always come easy for me. Whether it’s the smaller area to work with or no photo, I often feel lost. But over the years I have learned to let the product speak to me and these three cards below represent just that!

I primarily used Photoplay Paper for these designs and tried to add a twist to each one.

For this Christmas card:

I used a ready made frame that came with the kit, some corrugated cardstock that I had on hand to create the night sky and Christmas themed stickers. It was super easy and came together in NO TIME! That corrugated cardstock was my twist and added a lot of depth to the piece.

On this birthday card:

I used a cake cut out shape and my Silhouette machine. The marbled paper in this line reminded me of frosting and the little noise blower stickers, candles. Adding a little chipboard behind the frosting pieces adds a little depth to the piece.

And finally the panda birthday invitation:

I almost wish that I had a party to coordinate because how cute would this be to mass-produce with a bunch of differently posed pandas! Again the blue is mounted on chipboard to allow room for the panda sticker to fit within the bars.

I hope you’ll be inspired to look at your supplies and try making a few cards. If you get stuck, remember to look at your supplies and work backwards. You never know what you’ll end up with!

Thanks for checking in today and Happy card making!
