Good morning SCT friends! We've hope you've been having a great week and enjoy some holiday spirit! As the new year approaches we are excited to see this brand new class from our Art Director and designer Cathy Zielske call FIT. Perfect timing one might say!
"Fit is a year-long workshop designed to keep you inspired and accountable in the arena of self-care. For 12 months, we’ll be documenting and connecting to stuff that makes this process work well, as well as the stuff that can get in the way of success. With a 6 x 8 scrapbook to house our stories, we’ll track our progress throughout the year, together.
This is not a workout class. This is a not a nutrition class. This is a class designed to help you connect to what is needed in your life to make real and lasting changes. What are the best ways you can exercise? What are the foods that your body needs? How can you make this process even more personal? These aren’t always easy questions to answer. I speak from years of experience. But I’d like to invite you to join me in 2016 for a year of focusing on you, and working to do better." ~ Cathy Zielske
We are thrilled today to offer this class to two lucky readers! Share one of your goal with us for 2016 in the comment section below by January 7th and on January 8th we'll announce the two winners! Good luck!
As the year draws to a close we want to take a moment to wish all our readers a very Happy New Year. We also want to thank you for helping us to create our most successful year ever! With readers in 120 countries around the globe we love and appreciate all your kind comments, emails and support! We will take the next year to celebrate our 10th birthday and we hope you’ll join us all year long for fun challenges, surprises, prizes and more!
From our SCT home to your home, may all your dreams from the last year turn into achievements during this New Year! Wishing you health, happiness and peace in 2016.

My main goal for 2016 is to rid my life of the negative nellies who feel that it is ok to be disrespectful to me unless I am doing something for them.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year. Thanks for all that you do to inspire and help us be creative. My goals for the New Year are to get organized and to completely finish my various projects.
this class sounds amazing and like something I really need. :)
I am working to make major changes in my attitude – focusing on embracing joy and not letting others take it from me. I want to let go of bitterness and resentment and choose to be a better ME! :)
Sounds like this class is just what I need. I’m still trying to figure out my goals and what I need to do next year, but one of them will be to try to be more positive. Thank you so much the opportunity to win this. Think I am going to check out more about this class :)
This sounds like a wonderful
ride! I would like to get
more active this next year
and always working on being
more organized.
Carla from Utah
Just what i need! With this and my new Fitbit, I can make something happen this year. Time to eat right and move my body. I am going to tackle the extra pounds and move to a happy, healthier me!
Thanks for all the generous giveaways!!
What would one goal be for 2016? I think that any goals I have are all built on one premise…..if I don’t start to focus more on my physical and emotional needs, then it will become more and more difficult to be there for those for whom I have been and must to continue to be. Emergency instructions on a plane say that one must put on their own oxygen mask first before helping others. As women, our instinct is to help others first. In an effort to accomplish my goals which include exercise, attention to diet, taking time to breathe, letting go of emotional baggage, and decluttering to get rid of those things that bog me down. It is relatively easy to begin the process but it is extremely difficult to maintain the motion. Cathy’s description of the class offers support to maintain the motion.
My main goal for 2016 is to get my blood sugar back into the normal range; by doing this, I will also be eating healthier and losing weight.
I want to spend more time in the word, be intentional in my family time. Continue to document our stories and get FIT! What a wonderful opportunity this class is. Thank you for the chance to win.
My main goal is to spend more time working on my health. I want/need to move more, eat better, and lower my blood sugars. I also want to spend more time working on taking care of me in other ways, such as time to craft, time to learn, time to pamper myself, etc.
My main goal for 2016 is to eat healthier and lose 30#’s. Our daughter is getting married in June this year, if I can lose 15#’s or more by then I would feel and look better! I could really use this class for motivation! Thanks for a chance to win!
My main goal for 2016 is to stay healthy and happy.
I’ve been fortunate to be able to do what I want for 75 years and I hope to continue that tradition. My crafting has kept me going and I’ll continue do that.
thanks
Happy New Year.
My main goal for 2016 is to continue building my relationships with all that I love and making more relationships that will be everlasting. Surrounding myself with family and friends who I admire, means that I will always learn and be inspired.
I’m a believer that my autoimmune disease can be cured with a nutritional program, diet and other remedies. Because of the severe fatigue it is a challenge to stay on top of the changes that are needed. When I do get better I will need to relearn living life! Something like this would be great!
Happy New Year to all! I would like to be more organized and be less of a procrastinator, to be able to complete any and all projects!!! By doing this then there will be less negativity and feeling less stress.
My goal for 2016 is to organize my work room so that I can start to use my products and tools to create more scrapbook pages and cards, and begin to work on photo wall decor projects. We can always use encouragement along the way to stay focused and organized!
My goal for 2016 is to say yes more than I say no. In other words be more positive. Worry less :)
Thanks to everyone at SCT for making life a lot more fun and colourful!
Happy New Year! My goal is to try and be better organized.
One of my goals is to lose 52 lbs by October 2016. This class would really help me!
Love this idea – it sounds like a perfect way to get started on a better life style. I’m all for it!
Guess I need to tell you my goal – lose 40 pounds and exercise more.
In 2016 I want to be more active and healthy. I have fibromyalgia and this makes it tough to do some activities but I have to grandchildren and a niece that melts my heart so I am going to do my very best.
One of my 2016 goals is to kick the soda habit, this will be a struggle. Every bit of support I can muster will help me along the way.
Yes, yes, YES! I would love a spot in this class.
It sounds like just what I need.
My goal for 2016 is to get serious about caring for my health.
One of my goals for 2016 is taking better care of myself.
My goal for 2016 is to have more energy. I want to be able to get up and feel fantastic.
My main goal for 2016 is to improve my health and fitness.
Thank you! My goals for 2016 is to get in my steps, eat healthier, and drink plenty of water – and to have concrete steps to achieve these goals!
My main goal is to live happier and healthier in more ways than one – move more, eat better, do more things that make me happier, worry less about things I can;t control and work on creating great memories with my family! Happy New Year!
My goal for 2016 is to really work on living a balanced and healthy life. When my life gets out of control, I fun that I turn to sugar to get me through the day. I have taken Cathy’s classes before and they are great! Happy New Year!
to MOVE more and to CRAFT more.
I’m working on staying hydrated better in 2016… Such a small thing, but it takes such intentional focus for me and makes a big difference in how I feel!
I need lots of changes but one main goal is to get healthy snacking going on and add exercise. Any change will be good! Thanks!
My goal for 2016 is to focus on health and balance in all things- work, family, friends, etc
I’ve got a few major goals in my life this year. While I’ve become more fit over the past few years while taking taekwando, I haven’t lost a single pound. Yes, muscle is heavier than fat and I’ve toned some but I haven’t changed sizes in the slightest so it’s not the solution to my problems. This year, I want to lose some of the weight, try to have a more positive attitude and get crafting again. Thanks so much for the chance and Happy New Year!
My goal for 2016 is to work on my planning so that I control my life instead of outside forces!
Several goals, I hope to succeed.
1) Get organized
2) Get healthy
3) Rock my new position at work.
Thanks for the chance!
My 2016 goal is to get off the couple meds I’m on which means eating healthier and continuing with my exercise plan!
My goal is simple, yet so hard to do. To get back to the gym on a regular schedule. It must be a top priority.
Thanks for the chance to win!
My goal is to continue with the fitness and eating plan I started in August of 2015, which will enable me to reach a healthy weight and be in good shape. I’m so excited to have learned about this scrapbook workshop! I’ve always wondered why there haven’t been collections for fitness, yet, by the major designer paper companies. These colors, icons, and images are so fun, which will make working with the product even more enticing. And what’s extra awesome is that it’s all available for both paper and digi scrapping! I’m a digi scrapper, so that is really important to me!
One of my goals in 2016 is to stop procrastinating and get moving. Make fitness and healthier eating a priority. Looking forward to the challenge.
My goal for 2016 is to learn new things
I’m really trying to be deliberate in what I do. No more just letting things get away from me!
One of my goals is to spend more time with people I care about.
Priority goal is to be healthy…will take some work on taking better of myself and finding answers for some issues. Thanks for the giveaway!! Love CZ & her classes :)
Cathy is the best! A goal for 2016 is to create. I spent so much of 2015 worrying and keeping time with a million and one doctor related to-dos I neglected that part of me that loves to make stuff. 2016 is for remembering how much I love creativity.
My goal for 2016 is to find time for me – both in what I eat and what I do. Time to find a work life balance and time to prepare healthy nutritious meals.
My goal for 2016 is to get stronger, so fit is right up my alley.
My goal for 2016 is to get on the losing weight bandwagon. I see this class offered every year and I always think about signing up….2016 is the year to do it. Would love to win a spot. Thanks and Happy New Year! Tracy P.
