Shailyn and her dad have an amazingly close relationship, one definitely worth documenting. I just love this candid photo of them, side by side in the backseat following an intense tennis match.

The starting point for my layout was my desire to try something a little bit different for my title. Although I have numerous alphas that I could have chosen from, I opted for a computer-generated title instead. I thought it would be fun to mix things up even further, and alternated my lettering between five different colors. I printed my title onto the lower half of an 8.5”x11” sheet of textured cardstock.

After printing my title, I adhered the white cardstock to a colorful 12”x12” background. I left a white border around my photo and then matted it onto a bold floral patterned paper. I then adhered it just above my title. A journaling block, a fun assortment of embellishments, and an additional strip of patterned paper along the bottom edge completed my design.
