I’ve been crafting my entire life (68 years) –my mom was a crafter so we were always creating.
I started way back in the day when scrapping meant colored cardstock and fancy scissors! My style has changed a lot since then.
I have been crafting since 1998! Almost 20 years now. :)
I’ve always been into some kind of craft. Started out learning how to sew when I was a child and doing other kiddie crafts.
Went to crochet, macrame, ………
Can’t see myself never doing some kind of craft thing.
I have been crafting since the early 80’s – started with counted cross stitch embroidery, then ventured into beaded jewellery but now I love to make cards especially for the children at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. If I win, I would love to share this with my niece, Krista who is a scrapbooker and cardmaker. She is also a CTMH consultant and she has taught me a lot.
I’ve been crafting for 20 years!
I have been crafting since I was a little girl but I have been paper crafting for about 28 years.
Made cards and scrapbooks as a child in the 60’s, re-started both as a hobby in about 1998…lots of other crafts, too! My bff partner in crafting crime is Theresa.
Crafting for as long as I can remember. love your magazine, and would love a subscription!
I’ve been crafting for over 10 years. Even my boys are starting to make cards with me!
I have been crafting pretty much my entire life, so a little over 40 years. I started out with embroidery, moved on to counted cross stitch, then painting, and now scrapbooking and card making. I dabble in making chocolates and other fun things to eat now and again as well.
Congrats on 10 years! Fantastic giveaway!! I would love this prize. I’ve been scrapping for about 18 years.
Since I was a youngster my Mom encouraged all things creative. Many decades I’ve been crafting — sewing, needlepointing, cross stitching, paper crafting, floral arranging, etc.
I started paper crafting about twenty years ago. I love it! It’s such a satisfying feeling to put the final touches on a layout.
I started “scrapbooking” when I was in Brownies/Girl Scouts about 50 years ago. Back then it was construction paper, tape, and a lot of pages with photos, ribbons, awards, etc. stuck on thick paper that I am not quite sure what type of paper it was. The albums were quite large and bound with string that had a tassle on the end. Scrapbooking has really changed and so have the supplies. I love working with the current supplies and I think the end results illustrate the new materials.
I’ve been crafting in one way or another since I was a kid. My sister taught me to crochet long ago and I picked up cross stitch and actually worked for a cross stitch artist for a while. But my love for paper crafting started in 2007 when a friend introduced me to stamping. I was hooked. So I still do a combination of crafts but I seem to have settled into paper crafting as my favorite.
I have been scrapping since 1996 but was a little crafty as a kid. My mom and I used to get a “kit of the month” when I was little. I had forgotten about that til now. Thanks for the memory!
I have been crafting for 45 years give or take a few months! LOVE your magazine and would love to share it with my best and dearest friend Kathy! Thanks for the chance to!
Well I’ve been crafting for probably 15 years, but more regularly in the last 2-3
Crafting ever since I can remember! I started stamping about 29 years ago when my daughter was in preschool! So I have been a cardmaker since then! I’d share with my stamping pal Laura!
I have always been a crafter in one form or another: sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching….
Scrapbooking came into my life about 11 years ago and am still as excited about it and have no plans to stop LOL
Thanks for the opportunity to win such a fab prize :)
I have been crafting on and off since I was elementary school.. But it’s been 7 years I have been focusing on crafting :)
I still look through the first scrapbook I ever made in high school of my interest in swimming…so 40 years ago now….man! That sounds like a lifetime or 2 ago. I didn’t start working on them regularly until our oldest son was about 9, he is now almost 29… I love looking back and remembering
Serious scrapbooking since 2003 and card making and stamps since 2011. Basically since I retired and have time.
But liked all crafts all my life.
I’ve been crafting for so long I don’t even remember the number of years although it has been about 11 years I’ve been making cards. Thanks for the oppportunity to win a subscription to Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine for a friend and me!
I started crafting in high school or maybe even before then. I did a form of scrapbooking in college and then moved on to cross stitching. Now I am back to scrapbooking and that is my favorite!
I have been crafting all my life, but it was in 2002 when I found my home in scrapbooking. Like many of us, I started with a CM party. Did a scrapbook of their lives for each of my kids.
Then I discovered I had a bunch of crafting supplies, and started scrapbooking my grandkids’ lives. I have been hooked ever since.
When I retired in 2005, I had more time to devote to this hobby. Started card making a few years ago, and now I very seldom purchase a card.
feels like I’ve been crafting for years :) I’ve done a variety of things too. photography, sewing, quilting and now scrappin n cardmaking
It feels like I’ve been scrapbooking and making cards forever! It definitely has been at least 17 years but possibly more. I would love to win a subscription for me and my best crafting friend Jodie!
Awesome shares! Seems like I’ve been crafting forever, but paper crafting for about 20 years now. Started with little triangles and straight lines, it’s amazing what people who are just starting can do now a days! I would share with my crafting buddy Carolyn Spicer!
I’ve been crafting my whole life! I’ve always loved to color and my mom taught me to sew when I was in elementary school or younger. I made construction paper scrapbooks, religiously labeled my photos, and made more and more elaborate scrapbooks and photo albums as I got older. Crafting helps me to be me.
Congratulations on 10 years!!!
I have been seriously addictively paper crafting for about 9 years. I would so love to win a subscription to your magazine & I know that my friend would too. Thanks for the chance.
Crafting since I was small. Paper crafting, Scrapbooking since just before my Mother died in 2005.
I was going to get the family history before she passed-I just didn’t realize the task. Still not finished, still not organized…but I love it.
I started scrapbooking in 1996 when I got invited to a Creative Memories party. Shortly after that I started making cards. Also have an art journal and occasionally I like to make holiday home decor pieces.
Thanks for the chance to win.

Crafting forever ~ scrap booking & card making since 1996
In one form or another, all of my life!
I’ve been crafting since I was a child, my Mom was very creative and talented. My sisters say I inherited that gene! I’m now 63 so that’s a heck of a long time! ?
I’ve always been crafty, but I’ve only gotten more ‘serious’ about it in the last year or 2. It’s something that became a more important part of my life just when I needed a distraction from the relentless hold of chronic illness. Crafting is a wonderful creative outlet and provides me with much peace and joy. How exciting it would be to win inspiration for a year for both myself and my crafty BFF Nicole!
I have been crafting since I was very little. Scrapbooking for 20 years and stamping for 16 years. I also do other crafts which all keep me busy and happy. I LOVE your magazine and have subscribed to it the last few years. I would love to share a subscription with my bestie, Carol.
I have been making cards for about 5 yrs now. I was more the tomboy type so never crafted much as a kid. I would add stickers to my pen pal letters & envelopes & that was my crafting lol now I send my home made cards at Christmas & I think some are very surprised lol… I am glad my daughter doesn’t take after me :) Thanks for the inspirations in your Scrapbook & cards today magazine :)
I have been crafting almost my entire life and I am now 70. I started sewing as a child and of course drawing as most kids do. This led to cross titch, counted cross stitch, crewel, needlepoint, candlewicking, plastic canvas, hooking rugs, pin and ink, watercolor, acrylics, handmade jewelry, scrapbooking and now card making. I now teach 3 classes a month on scrapbooking and card making. As much as I love my paper crafts one of my greatest joys was teaching my Mother to do counted cross stitch. The first modern type scrapbook I did was a family heritage one I gave to my parents for Christmas several years before they passed away.
I’ve been crafting 12 years! When I retired I really started in earnest. Made two lifetime albums for my two grown kids to start me off and I haven’t stop! Now i have my own Etsy store and make mini albums and cards for family! I JUST LOVE IT!
I have been scrapbooking since the 1980’s and it was so comforting to me when my 4 month old grandson died in 1990 and I was able to make a scrapbook in his memory.
