This year I have great plans to help my kids stay organized or at least get ready for school, and of course I used my digital supplies to do it. Inspired by an article in the Disney Family Fun magazine I made a place mat checklist, which is like a chore chart.

In Photoshop I created 6×12 documents for each side with the Do At Home and Bring to School lists. Ticketed No 2 by Katie Pertiet had a great checklist that I used for my list. Once I added my lists I embellished them with digital images – a house for the “home” list and a bus for the “school” list.

I used a 12×18 sheet of poster board for my base and glued the list documents on each side. I used some October Afternoon Schoolhouse paper for the middle section. You can laminate the mat to make it more durable, and if you do you should be able to write on it using dry erase markers. I covered mine with clear contact paper.

Why don’t you try making a chore chart using some digital supplies?
