It’s Saturday and we’re excited to welcome our friends at Pink & Main to the SCT blog! We think you’ll love the cute card and tag that you’re about to find below, created with some of their newest products—perfect for holiday crafting!
………………………..
Hello everyone! This is Amanda from Twiddler’s Nook for Pink & Main! Today, I’m sharing an adorable card and tag set using a bundle of wonderful Pink & Main products. I hope you love it; let’s get started!
I started this fun project by stamping and coloring the images from Christmouse with my Copic markers. I decided to stick to a limited color palette for my card to keep things coordinating. Today I went with one of my favorites: mint, pink, and red. Then, I used the coordinating dies for Christmouse and cut the images out. I set them aside while I worked on the rest of the card.
I pulled out the soon-to-be-released plaid embossing folder, inked up one side with pink, put my cardstock in, and ran it through my die cutting machine. This inked up part of the panel, leaving the raised plaid lines white. You could try this technique in reverse as well by inking the other side of the embossing folder. This is a really fun technique to play around with and when you’re done playing, you have a bundle of backgrounds ready for cards!
I trimmed the panel down to 4” x 5.25” and popped it up with foam tape on a white card base. Then, I popped my mouse and presents up with foam squares on that. I stamped a sentiment from the Christmouse set in pink and used the A2 Layered Rectangle dies to cut it out. I cut the next side up in the same die set from mint and glued them together, popping them up with foam squares. Last, I created a small red bow from the new Stitched Bow Dies and glued it to the corner of my sentiment.
I love adding finishing touches to my projects! …almost as much as I love creating the projects themselves. I feel like they aren’t complete until I add some little details. For this card, I added glossy accents to the Christmas ornaments, package tags, and the mouse’s nose. Then I went back with a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen and glittered up the package ribbons, star, and tree base.
I had colored all the images at the beginning, unsure of my final design and while I was working on the card I thought it would be so cute to make a coordinating tag to go with it. I cut the Fancy Tags pieces from white and then ran the stitched panel through my die cut machine with the plaid embossing folder, without inking it this time. I glued those layers together and popped up my mouse image with foam squares. I stamped another sentiment from Christmouse, in mint this time, and cut it out with the banner die in the Fancy Tags Die Set. It’s also popped up with foam squares.
I strung some pink and white baker’s twine through the hole, created a medium stitched bow in mint, and glued it in place. For finishing details on this little tag, I added glossy accents to the mouse’s nose and a black glaze pen to the snow mouse’s eyes and nose.
Aren’t these guys just the cutest? I can’t get over them! They’re so fun to color and create all kinds of scenes with. And there’s even an image in the set I didn’t use today! So many possibilities!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and found some inspiration to create something wonderful. I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

The tag is really cute and maybe someday, I could try making some of those too. Thanks for the opportunity to win this wonderful prize. I love the inspiration I get each day from SCT!

Slimline cards – I need to make one and see if I like them! I am so loving the news dies and stamps for this size, but don’t want to commit…but then I don’t make a card because “I don’t have the supplies” (ha ha, we all have far too many supplies!) Thanks for the giveaway – your products are awesome!
This is a very cute stamp set and made such a cute card and tag.
I haven’t inked an embossing folder yet and this looks like the perfect folder to try it on! I love plaid!!! These little mice are just too cute. Love the colors too.

I think the card and tag are super cute. Love making Christmas anything!
I have not tried inking an embossing folder yet. I love the new folder.
Such a fun card and tag with those cutie mice! I would like to give no-line watercoloring a try, I love seeing what others do with this technique but it looks very intimidating!
I was always a scrapbooker and never made cards, but during these months of not going out unnecessarily I started making cards. I am having so much fun, and using up lots of my scrapbooking scraps too. I’ve made cards for all the occasions needed, plus I send cards every few days to my grandsons, and they are loving getting mail. I would like to try embossing paste and stencils, though all new techniques are great to try.
This is so adorable! It reminds me of my favorite book when I was little called The Christmas Mouse! It makes my heart so happy! Absolutely beautiful!!
Such adorable cards!! The technique I am currently interested in is using alcohol markers to color stamped images to use for card making. I have experimented a little but have a lot to learn about blending techniques.
Pink and Main have such nice products for us to do our craft. Love the tag!
I’ve tried inking on embossing folders before with no success, but am going to give it another try.
I love all crafting ideas. But as I used to draw a lot more as a child I would like to do more sketching and combine with new mixes media techniques. Setting time aside is the hard part
Love the cute mouse stamps! Adorable. They would be cute to incorporate into mixed media pages!
Love your projects.
I am thinking of working on slimline cards . I made some years ago and want to try again.
I have never tried the inking and embossing technique……looks quite doable! Know what I am going to try this weekend! Thanks for the inspiration!

Carla from Utah
Simply darling!! Love the Christmouse and that inking and embossing background! Thank you Pink and Main for inspiring products and for sponsoring a give away!!

Simply ah.dor.able card and tag set….love the scalloped edge. Thanks much for the opportunity to win this.
I just live try new different techniques.
Great inky embossing technique, I can see leaves and snowflakes in my future.
Wow, wonderful card and tag. I love pink and main’s blending brushes, I want to get better with my blending techniques and I’m starting to get a few stencils to do techniques with those. I’d also love to improve my drawing and sketching, I get frustrated quickly and I know practice is what I need.
I would like to try the technique done here, add ink to an embossing folder. I am hesitant to do this technique because I am afraid that ink will stain the embossing folder.
Would love to try foiling which looks so pretty!
I would love to try inking embossing folders. Those little mice are really cute!
So cute!
So cute with the mice and this color combo. I am trying slimline cards and hope to make gelli prints for cards too.
I would love to learn to do pop up cards and I really need to learn more about shading with Copic markers. There’s just so MUCH to learn!
These are so cute. I love those mice! I really want to do more with mixed media. I have a gelly plate that I got years ago and never used so I’m really wanting to create some fun backgrounds with it. Thanks for the chance to win.

Darling card and tag! Love the mice and the embossing folder!
I’d like to try heat foiling! I love the look of it but have not tried it yet!
