Clean & Simple with Cathy Z: This & That Snapshot of Life Scrapbook Page + Tutorial

Hi everyone! Welcome to another installment of Clean & Simple with me, Cathy Z! Today I’ve got a fun idea for a slice of life snapshot and you can do this for anyone of your favorite scrapbooking subjects, or even do what I did and make it all about you!

I am a big fan of letter dies and this layout gave me a fun way to incorporate one of my favorite alphabet sets with a giant ampersand die/shadow combo. Even though letter dies are more expensive than a sheet of stickers, the fact that you can use them on any paper and then keep using them is something I love. 

Using some gorgeous Vicki Boutin paper, I cut out the big ampersand shape, and then cut the shadow layer on some Sweet Mango card stock from Gina K. Designs. I used both the Sweet Mango and some Sea Glass card stock to die cut the letters for the rest of the title. 

A little stamped, embossed and die cut tab added a tiny pop of color to the left side of the layout and I added a few hearts at the bottom to balance this simple design. 

I typed up my simple list in Photoshop, using all active ‘ing’ words to create a rhythm to my journaling. This is a really simple way to get some real-life facts about you or someone else into your albums.
