Craft It Monday with Marla Kress – a teacher’s gift project!

Hello SCT readers!  Today I have teachers on the brain.  The school year is wrapping up soon and I always like to give them a little thank you for all of their hard work.   However this would also make a super cute housewarming or hostess gift.  It would also look really cute with a few more grouped together in the center of my table.

The houses/schools are really easy to make.   Simply print and cut out the template below.  From there you can trace it onto your patterned paper (double sided makes for a lovely home interior) and cut it out.

I’d recommend decorating your house at this stage before gluing it together.  This is also a great opportunity for kiddos to help if it’s a teacher gift.

I think these would look better with herbs or a leafy plant pouring over the house but you can experiment to get the look you like. Here is the template:

Thanks for checking in today!  I’d love to see your creations with this template!
