Creating a Card Suite with A Single Design by Latisha Yoast

Hello friends! It’s Latisha here with you, and today I am sharing a few cards that I made with supplies from the SCT Delivered Garden Party kit. It has everything that is desirable in a kit: patterned paper, solid cardstock, exclusive stamp set, embellishments, ephemera, cut files and more, and is perfect for scrapbookers and cardmakers alike! 

Coming up with a simple design, and recreating it on several cards saves time and allows you to make a pile of cards in one sitting! 

Adhering two strips of patterned paper to the left hand side of the card creates a nice base to add embellishments. By popping up diecuts with foam adhesive, it gives the card extra depth. 

By rotating the card and placing the strips on the bottom, you now have a completely different look, still using the same design!

Using the Garden Party kit takes all of the guesswork out of mixing patterned papers and makes the creative process easy. All of the papers and ephemera coordinate collectively, just one of the reasons they are so awesome to create with! 

Did I mention that an exclusive stamp set was included in the Garden Party kit? The amount of cards that could be created from a single stamp set is endless! For this last card, I created a custom background by blending red, orange, yellow, green, and blue ink onto the card front to create a nice rainbow blend. Then I stamped the exclusive stamp sentiments in black ink. It needed something else, and the little dot images from the stamp were perfect to add interest when stamped in each color family.
