Hello cardmaking friends! It’s Anya here today, and I am so happy to share two cards with you that I created in one of my very favorite go-to designs! Basically, you use a simple background, add a die-cut wreath to the center and decorate it with flowers and leaves of your choice! These cards can be created for any occasion and are really fun to create!

Supplies | Cardstock: Neenah White; Patterned paper: Echo Park Our Wedding collection, P13; Metal dies: Hero Arts; Stamps: p13; Brads: Echo Park Paper; Phrase stickers: Simple Stories; Dimensional adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Other: Nuvo Drops, vellum, white embossing powder

Here are some simple step-by-step instructions if you would like to create a similar card using this wreath design:

  1. Start by creating a card base that measures 4.25″ x 6.25″.
  2. Trim a piece of light blue paper to measure about 3.75″ x 5.75″ and add a white cardstock border to it.
  3. Using a sewing machine, add a stitched line around the perimeter of the light blue paper. Adhere this piece to the front of the card.
  4. Using a wreath die cut, cut two pieces from white cardstock and adhere them to the card front, stacking them up for dimension.

  1. Fussy cut a bunch of flowers. I used the You and Me patterned paper from the Our Wedding collection by Echo Park Paper. Emboss a few favorite leaves on vellum and fussy cut them as well. I used a leaf stamp set by P13
  2. Arrange the flowers and additional leaves to one side of the wreath with foam dots. Add some embossed vellum leaves to the arrangement.

  1. Trim a 4″ x 6″ piece of matching patterned paper to cover the back panel of the card.
  2. Top the wreath and floral arrangement with a sentiment sticker or stamped strip.
  3. Finish the card by adding a few enamel dots or a pearled brad. You may also scatter a few tiny dots created with Nuvo drops.

I hope you were inspired by these cards to create your own, using the supplies that you have on hand. If you have some fussy cut flowers it won’t take long to put one together! Thank you for visiting the blog today and I hope you will stop by again soon for more inspiration!
