Howdy, everyone!  I’m back….:) It’s Layle Koncar – think ‘Gayle’, with an ‘L’ – Director of Marketing for Simple Stories & Carpe Diem.

Here’s a little secret – my house is already decorated for Christmas.  Already!   I love everything about Christmas.  Everything.   Every year I decorate my planner for December and this year is no exception.  When I sat down this week to start putting it together, I even had Christmas music playing in the background.   Oh yes, I did!

I’ve used the Simple Stories Merry & Bright collection along with the December Free Printables to decorate this month.  The pockets of our Carpe Diem planners are one of my favorite features – adding cards, die cuts, clips & stickers to decorate them is so fun!  Most of the time when I open my planner I have a loooooong list of TO DO’s to tackle, having something fun to look at when I start makes it a little easier to get started!

Santa’s furry beard – a small piece of cotton from a cotton ball!

I used the A5 Divider Templates to create my own dividers for the month.

Once I traced the dividers & trimmed, I adhered tabs from the Tabs Sticker Tablet.  The dividers will help me section off my planner & keep track of everything during the month.

The December Free Printables are so stinking cute, especially that elf!

I always love to use the dated monthly calendar inserts from the printables, they’re perfect for jumping right in and decorating.

The snowman on the bookmark from the printables is SNOW cute, right?!  I added a little pom pom trim for his scarf J

Here’s a close up look at how I decorated the month with washi & stickers –

Happy holidays and best of wishes for a safe & healthy New Year!
