Hello, everyone, Sheri Reguly here today! I’m sure I’m not the only one looking at the calendar wondering just where the summer has gone. While we’re busy prepping for back to school, and the fall issue is getting ready to be sent to print, I’d like to revisit the summer issue with you today.

I’m sure you’ll all recall this wonderful freebie put together by the talented Cathy Z.

I just couldn’t resist playing with these fun designs once again. This time, putting a colorful twist on them. I have three examples to share with you today.

The first is a layout design…

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned paper: Crate Paper, Simple Stories; Enamel Dots, Decorative Brad: Simple Stories; Die Cuts, Rubber Shapes: Crate Paper; Wooden Button: American Crafts

The second is a fun, “just because”card.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper, Die Cuts, Stickers, Enamel Dots: Simple Stories

For these designs, I opened the digital stamps onto a variety of colorful backgrounds, converted them to white, printed them out, cut around the edges and used them to embellish my projects. I kept the sizes of the stamps as is, but you can easily reduce their size, or even stretch them to make them larger…even much larger, as you’ll see in my third example.

I thought the fun “flag designs” would translate perfectly into a trendy wall banner.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper, Tassel: Crate Paper, Enamel Dots: My Mind’s Eye; Dies: Sizzix

I followed the same steps as I mentioned above, but this time I stretched the stamp to fill an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of textured white cardstock. After printing it out, I simply cut around the edges using a straight edge and exacto knife. A slim wooden bar along the top and some simple embellishing completed my design.

I’m sure you’ve already downloaded this awesome freebie, but just in case you haven’t, you can find it here.

Thanks so much for joining me, wishing everyone a wonderful day!

P.S. If you’ve incorporated these fun digital stamps into any of your projects, I’d love to see them!!!
