Hello to all you fabulous and supportive SCT readers! I have a really festive and incredibly fast Father's Day card for you today. I also have a bonus idea, because I want to prove that ANYONE can make this card!

FD

In the most recent Winter issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today, my go-to product was 3×4 cards, initially created for Project Life style scrapbooking. I don't do Project Life, but I do use the cards, a lot! The base of this Father's Day card is one of the cards in the June Day in the Life kit from Cocoa Daisy. I knew it would make a fun card, but it needed a little bling because my dad is quite the snappy dresser and a plain tie would never cut it! It's so simple to dress up your 3×4 cards by adding stitching, stamping, and embellishments. I machine stitched around the tie and added some shiny enamel dots to the tie. Next was the card itself, you can see how quickly this came together.

But what if you don't have this card, you say? Well I made a second card to show how easy it is to reproduce. I cut out a tie from scrap cardstock, cut a 3×4 piece of patterned paper, printed off the sentiment and cut it into strips, then assembled in the same manner as the first card. Pretty slick, don't you agree?

I love when I can mass produce cards, this is definitely one that would be fall into that category. I hope my dad likes it because he could get this card year after year after year now! :)
