Hey everyone! Nicole here today on the blog to share some tips on fussy cutting. OK, I know what you are thinking – “ack, I hate fussy cutting! It’s too much work.” I promise it really isn’t. It’s a great way to stretch your supplies and create your own unique embellishments for cards or scrapbook layouts too. Here you’ll see the cards I created but be sure to watch the video below for more fussy cutting tips and tricks!

Supplies: Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned Paper: Simple Stories; Gems/Pearls: Queen & Co.; Cut files: JustNick Studio; Stamps & Ink: Stampin’ Up; Circle Die: Gina K. Designs; Art Crayons & Stencil brush: Vicki Boutin

Using not even a quarter of a sheet of patterned paper, you can transform a simple white card base into paper magic.

A few quick tips:

  • Move the paper, not your scissors
  • Leave a thin border around the edge of the element you are fussy cutting
  • Use foam adhesive to the paper for quick dimension

Sit back and join me as I show you how effortlessly these cards came together with minimal supplies and a little cutting effort!

Thanks for joining me on the blog, I will see you again soon for more Designing ideas!
