Hey there everyone! Hard to believe it is already mid-November and time for another installation of “Designed with Nicole Nowosad.”
Sometimes, it is hard to find inspiration and you get creative on what will boost your mojo! In fact, today’s cards were inspired by a project that my daughter made when crafting together one night together.
Let’s talk all about blocked backgrounds using watercolours!
Supplies: watercolour cardstock; Watercolour paint- Prima; Distress Inks- Tim Holtz; Stamps: Stampin’ Up; Patterned Paper: Basic Grey; Dies: Gina K for Thermoweb; misc. washi tape
I used two different methods to watercolour the blocks on my card fronts, both to create fun fall cards using a blocked background.
Want to see how easy it was to create these fun colour blocked cards? Sit back and see how you can make these yourself in minutes!
I hope you will give this a try! See you again soon! Be sure to subscribe to the SCT YouTube channel too.
