Hello everyone! Welcome back to another Designed with Nicole Nowosad! Today we are going to talk about one of my favorite things to do on a project and that is to add some machine stitching detail!
You can see that a little stitching goes a long way on your project. I promise you it really is quite easy and all you need are a few basics:
- your favorite papers;
- some simple thread; and
- a good 'ol sewing machine!
I use a Janome New Home Pink Lightning machine and it is perfect for papercrafters!
In this case, we are starting this project with some simple punched circles and layering them together to create a fun and whimsical set of accents on the project. A really easy way for those new to machine stitching to get started and quite easy too!
Supplies: Patterned paper, wood buttons, puffy stickers, thickers, stickers – Shimelle for American Crafts
So grab something to drink, sit back and see how easily this page came together and get ready to get inspired to give this a try yourself! I promise, you won't be disappointed!
Thanks for stopping by! If there is something you might want to know more about on an upcoming Designed series, leave me a comment and I will see what I can do!
