Hello! It’s Virginia here to share with you a great way to use up those beautiful doilies in your stash. I love these mini doilies from Doodlebug, you get so many doilies in one package and I love the rainbow of colours they come in!
Supplies: Patterned paper, stickers, doilies, enamel dots, ephemera: Doodlebug
As you can see above I created a doily background for my card. A tip if you find the doilies tear as you apply them to card stock, try using spray adhesive (in a well ventilated area). After the card stock piece is all covered, just fold the excess doilies over the edge for a nice finished look. Voila! you have instant background colour, some texture and a little touch of vintage!
