What is better than colorful eggs for Easter?! To go along with the cut file, I am using Echo Park’s new My Favorite Easter collection to create my page.

Supplies |  April Cut file – SCT Magazine; Patterned paper, chipboard stickers, ephemera, cardstock: Echo Park Paper My Favorite Easter collection; Die: Echo Park; Pen: Muji; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

This is such a fun and versatile cut file. For my page, I wanted to use it as part of the background, so I used my Silhouette software to copy and weld three of the cut file together, creating two rows of eggs that are ready to customize for your pages.

I cut the design twice from white cardstock, then used glue to attach the two die cuts together. This makes the die cut sturdier, and adds a bit of dimension to the design.

The colors in the paper collection are vibrant and capture the season perfectly, making it easy to back the eggs. The vibrant colours created the perfect background to the memories of my teens after finding chocolate treats around the apartment.

I continued the theme of eggs and bunnies throughout the embellishments on the page.  For the title, I used the collection’s coordinating die set to create a few extra eggs from patterned paper. which I layered at the bottom of the page as a background for my title.

Remember to download the new Easter Eggs cut file and share all your projects that featured this design on social media by using the #sctmagazine hashtgag. We love seeing what you create!
