Hey there SCT fans! Nicole here today to share with you a quick and simple tip to create some colorful cards for Dad for Father’s Day!

Supplies: Distress Ink: Ranger; Patterned Paper Stickers, Enamel Dots: Simple Stories; Cardstock: American Crafts; Stamps and Ink: Close to My Heart

Both cards were created with the same few supplies, but with two totally different looks. For the first card, I used Distress Ink to create a watercolor-like background, adding in some stamped images in a light gray color for texture.

To decorate the background, I added in some stickers popped with foam adhesive. A really simple way to add a sentiment and some design to the card front.

I added in some machine stitching and some enamel dots to finish off the card.

The next card was created with the same supplies but has a whole other look to it.

This time, I used the stamps to create texture on the card front, starting with a yellow color and adding in orange and gray using different stamp images.

You can see the texture that the different stamps and colors quickly creates around the edges of the card. Just add a die cut circle and a few more Simple Stories stickers and enamel dots and this card is all ready for Dad!

I hope you are inspired to use minimal supplies to create 2 totally different cards!
