Hello friends! As the end of 2020 draws near, we are reflecting on some of your favourite projects and posts featured here on our blog by our talented design team! Let’s take a look at some of these projects that you may have missed this year:

Erica Thompson created this fun, summer layout for International Scrapbook Day back in May of this year. We just love the cascading diamonds on the left, and that bright and beautiful colour scheme! Check out Erica’s post HERE.

Mindy Eggen wow’ed us with these magical unicorn tags created for our birthday celebration in March.  The pastel colours and sparkles that embellish these magical cakes would make anyone’s birthday complete! See Mindy’s tags HERE

We just loved the cut files created by Nicole Nowosad this year, and the layouts that she created with them! This was our favourite of the year—not only because it documents a beautiful photo of two of our favourite people, but that beautiful filled cut file against the colourful background makes the page complete! Find Nicole’s project & cut file HERE.

Creative director Paige Evans sure knows how to fill a big, bold cut file, and we love the way she did that here for our birthday celebration week. You can download this cut file, and re-create Paige’s layout by tucking photos in the corners of this fun freebie! See Paige’s post HERE.

We loved hosting challenge weeks leading up to our new issue releases of 2020, especially since our team creates amazing projects using the challenge sketches, mood boards, and colour schemes. This page by Meghann Andrew was no exception, and we love the way that she took the colours and images from the mood board and brought them to life on this layout. We also love that photo, taken at our Saskatoon Crop & Create events in the fall of 2019! See the mood board that inspired Meghann’s layout HERE.

We love that our magazine issues inspire not only our readers to create but our design team as well! Wendy Sue Anderson created these two beautiful cards based on a layout from our Spring issue, and we love the delicate floral details that she added! Check out which project inspired Wendy’s cards HERE.

We know that our SCT Delivered kits are versatile enough for any type of project, but Nathalie Leonelli illustrated that perfectly using our Autumn Afternoon kit to create this pocket page. We just love all of the little details she added to this page that records a fall family outing. See Nathalie’s post and project HERE.

Lisa Dickinson’s latest project created for our blog has to be our favourite of 2020 too! We always love Lisa’s grid designs, but this one blew us away by the addition of her fun, textural embellishments! See the colour scheme that inspired Lisa to create this layout HERE.

One of the highlights of 2020 has been seeing what our subscribers and design team create using our SCT Samplers, and we thought that this mini album with a shaker front created by Nathalie DeSousa was especially creative and inspiring! Don’t miss seeing all of the fun fall moments included on the inside of the album! See Nathalie’s SCT Sampler mini album HERE.

A lot of things changed this year, but one thing that didn’t was the need to send greetings to let others know that we care. Latisha Yoast is especially good at this, and we thought that her 2020 grad cards created using our free cut files were perfect, easy to create in large quantities, in any colour scheme. That’s a win-win in our book!

We always love it with Editor-in-Chief Susan Opel pops on the blog to share a card that she created, and this purple beauty inspired by a card from our fall issue is our favourite of the year! Don’t miss more Magazine Monday posts from Susan each month in 2021! Find Susan’s Magazine Monday post HERE.

We hope you have loved all of the content that our amazing team has shared here on the blog this year, and we can’t wait to bring more to you in 2021! Let us know in the comments which post was YOUR favorite of the year!
