This month, we’re using something special from your stash to jump-start our creativity and get scrapping!  It could be something you’ve been hanging onto for that perfect page, or it could be something you love so much you’re not sure where to start.  No matter the reason for hanging onto it, it’s time to get it out of the packaging and onto your page!

I started with a set of fabric rosettes from Pink Paislee and a fringe butterfly from Maggie Holmes.  These have been in my stash for a few years now, and I completely adore them, so it’s high time I got them onto a page!  Once I got my journaling and paper layers completed, it was pretty easy to place the three rosettes in a visual triangle around my photo and journaling, and the rest was a breeze from there!

Although my page has a lot of interesting details, it’s actually a very basic design.  Come along and watch my process video to find out how I used basic design principles including the visual triangle, repetition, and contrast, to create a page that celebrates my daughters’ relationship.
