Hello, friends! It’s Latisha Yoast here with you. Today I am sharing information about all of the completely FREE bonus content that SCT offers with each new issue. Finding the files is easy: when you go to the main page of this website, click “Magazine” then select, “Spring 2021” from the dropdown menu. Here you can view the latest issue, but also download the bonus files. These files allow you to download cut files, print files and there is also a multitude of sketches for cards and scrapbook pages.

Cut files, allow you to download an image to a computer, then cut it out on the electronic die cutting machine of your choice. SCT knows that everyone does not use the same machine, so many different files are created so that they can be cut out no matter what. Easy peasy!

The “celebrate” cut file may have created for a scrapbook page, but you can resize it to fit any format! I wanted to create a few cards using this image, so I scaled it down to fit an A2-sized card, 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I cut “celebrate”  twice using two different patterned papers from Honey Bee Designs, adhering to the outline using liquid adhesive, then the letters using foam adhesive. A simple bow of twine was added at the top to embellish!

Since the “celebrate” image was cut twice, there were extra diecuts left over, allowing me to create another card, this one with one less step! I adhered the outline to patterned paper again, then adhered the patterned paper to a white card base using foam adhesive. I finished off this design with a double twine bow to embellish.

Each issue includes inspiring card sketches, as well as bonus content sketches. They can be followed exactly, or can serve as a starting point.

I followed this sketch exactly to create a fun thank you card using just a scrapbook collection and no fancy dies or stamps. I was able to duplicate the sketch so easily!
