Free cut file from Nicole Nowosad!

Hey Scrapbook & Cards Today fans! I am back again with a
new fun cut freebie for your Silhouette Cameo. This month, the cut file is what you could call a happy
accident. I created this shape when I pressed the wrong button in my program
and wham – this shape appeared! I liked it, so I worked with it a bit and
today’s freebie was the result.

Here is what today’s freebie looks like:

Doily Background

This shape can be ungrouped and adapted to create either a
background or use each doily shape on its’ own too. You can resize it smaller
or even drag one larger to fill your whole page.  I made both a card and layout with doilies
cut from just using the file as it is in the photo above… and I still have a
few left over for other projects!

Let’s start with the layout using this cut file:

Your Smiles

Supplies: Patterned Paper (My Mind’s Eye, Amy Tangerine
and Dear Lizzy for American Crafts, Crate Paper), Brads (American Crafts, Basic
Grey), Alphabet (Pebbles Inc.), Die Cuts (Crate Paper, American Crafts),
Stickers (My Mind’s Eye, Fancy Pants), Fabric Frames (Crate Paper), Vellum,
Flair (Ormulu)

I cut the entire page of doilies onto white cardstock and
separated them across the top of my page. I embellished them with some machine
stitching and layers of punched paper, brads and sequins.

I loved the shape so much, I wanted to use just one on a
card and here it is:

Happy card
Supplies: Patterned Paper ( American Crafts, Crate Paper),
Brads (Basic Grey)

For this card, I
layered one doily shape over the base patterned paper and then embellished with
some word bubbles and a brad.

Hello card cl1

I hope you are inspired to download this freebie and use it
on your projects! A bit of fair warning – because of the detail, please set
your machine to a slower speed and let it go. The whole page will take some
time to cut! There are a lot of pretty details to cut out.  Be patient and it will be worth it!

Here is the cut file
for you to enjoy!  https://app.box.com/s/isp5eu285h9wrnwjocc6

Thanks so much for joining me again today. I hope are enjoying
all the freebies here on the blog.

Very pretty card made with this cut file. So wish I had a cutting machine! I have hand cut some cut files, but this one is too detailed! Wish I could attend that Crop and Create, too!

Thanks for the cut file, looking forward to using it! When you say to set the cameo for a slower cut setting – what did you use? I normally just set it for textured cardstock which is speed 3 and thickness 33. Thanks for the help!

    Hey Brenda – I used speed 1 or 2

Just love the gorgeous poinsettia ornament card. The pearls enhance the flower and bring out the texture of the gold embossing. Very elegant. We are all winners – just by viewing these beautiful creations
