Free cut file from Nicole Nowosad!

Good morning Scrapbook & Cards Today friends! It’s that time of the month again, where we have a new cut freebie for your Silhouette Cameo.  This month, since it is the holiday season, I thought I would make a holiday related cut file for you! These images are great for any holiday projects, layouts, and/or cards too!

Here is what today’s freebie looks like:

Holiday 1

Each shape can be easily resized to fit your paper project’s needs! I played around a little with the size on the images and came up with a few quick cards. It is amazing at how quickly a few cards come together with cut shapes and some patterned paper.

Here are my cards using different shapes from this freebie:

 Merry card

Supplies: Patterned Paper (Lawn Fawn), Cardstock (American Crafts), Hemp twine

For this card, I cut the “merry” from patterned paper and used the negative “merry” for my sentiment! I added a few dimensional foam squares behind it and layered it over some simple white cardstock.

  Merry card cl1

Next, I cut the tree shape and added a few fun gems from Doodlebug to the empty areas to mimic ornaments:

  Joy card

Supplies: Patterned Paper (Lawn Fawn), Cardstock (American Crafts), Flair (Lawn Fawn), Hemp Twine

Joy card cl1

Lastly, I cut the the “hohoho” out onto some fun striped patterned paper and used it as my card sentiment and layered it over the patterned paper.

  Ho ho ho card

Ho ho ho card cl1

Supplies: Patterned Paper (Lawn Fawn), Cardstock (American Crafts), Washi Tape (Freckled Fawn), Brads (My Mind’s Eye), Tiny Attacher

I hope you are inspired a little to use this freebie on your holiday projects!  To download the cut file, click HERE.

This would be great IF we ALL had a way to use SVG cut files! I see that I’m not alone in this thought! A PDF or JPG file would be nice for the rest! Just a thought!!! Have fun with it those who can!!!
