Free Cut File Tuesday with Nicole Nowosad!

Welcome back to the blog for another cut file freebie day! Here is what this month’s freebie looks like:

This month, I have invited talented contributor from our Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine Reader’s gallery and today I have asked Jennie McGarvey, who was featured in our Spring 2015 Reader’s Gallery. I asked her to use the cut file in any way she wanted, on any type of project, and check out the amazing page she sent me.

I just love how Jennie incorporated the “sunshine” as the title and inked up the edges of the clouds in the freebie too. Nicely done Jennie! Here is what Jennie had to say about her page:

This cut file was ALL SUMMER!  I was super excited by so many of the elements including the lemon slice and pineapple!  However, when it came down to it — the text was perfect for my page.  Adding it and the clouds were the perfect addition to my page.

I loved the “sunshine” part of the freebie and used that along with the sun shape to make my layout:

Supplies: Patterned paper, brads, alpha stickers – Basic Grey 

You can see that I layered the sun shape with various different papers and stitched them together, adding some wood buttons to add some sparkle to the center.
