Good morning SCT fans and readers!! It’s time for another cut file freebie – this one is graphic and trendy and a true gem 😉  Here is what this month’s freebie looks like:

May 2015 freebie GeometricDownload HERE!

As in previous months, we have invited a talented contributor from our Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine Reader’s gallery and today I have asked Jennifer Chapin, who was featured in our Spring 2015 Reader’s Gallery.

I asked her to use the cut file in any way she wanted, on any type of project, and check out the amazing page she sent me.

So fun right! I just love how Jen resized and used so many of the geometric shapes to fill her background in such a fun and pretty way!! Here is what Jen had to say about her page:

I was so excited to use these fabulous die cuts that Nicole designed. I cut them in varying sizes out of white cardstock, then adhered them to patterned paper and trimmed around the edges. I used foam adhesive to give some dimension and embellished with sequins and chipboard hearts. Thank you for the opportunity to share this layout on the SCT blog!

I played along with the freebie too, and here is what I created this month:

This is ME
Supplies: Paper, Bradz, Stickers, Chipboard: Simple Stories

I chose to weld one of the geometric shapes together to create a mini background for my page. I also used foam adhesive to pop it off my page and add some quick dimension!

This is ME Cl1

Thank you so much to Jennifer Chapin for joining me today!  To see more of Jen’s work and follow what she has been up to, please visit her on her blog at:   http://jenchapin.blogspot.com/ or on Instagram: https://instagram.com/jenchapin/.

Thanks for joining us today and enjoy this free file!
