Good morning SCT Fans! It’s that time again – time for another free cut file for all you digi cutting fans out there! This month’s cut file is a simple one, but can be used in many different ways – how would you use it?
Take a peek:
I asked Jennifer McMurtrey to join me on the blog today and create a project using this cut file.
Supplies: Patterned paper, stickers, and die cuts: Simple Stories Vintage Blessings; Enamel dots: Simple Stories and Echo Park; White cardstock: AC; Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush Pen (doesn’t show up in the photos but is on the white letters); Roller stamp: Seven PaperWhite thread; Cut files- JustNick studio
I just love Jennifer clustered several of today’s cut file together to make a background for her page! I also had a chance to play along and here is what I created!
I used today’s cut file in the place of a dream catcher, which also helped me determine the title for my project too. An added bonus. I simply die cut the design from white cardstock and layered some pieces of patterned paper behind some of the areas, as my background was colourful already!
Supplies: Patterned Paper – Crate Paper; Cardstock- American Crafts; Embellishments- Pink Paislee; Thickers – Pebbles Inc.; Distress Ink – Ranger
Now for the fun stuff! You can grab this cut file for FREE on our website HERE. Be sure to also download all the other free cut files available there too.

Great cut file! I love how you have used it multiple times! TFS!
Great embellishing ideas.
Can you explain to me or point me somewhere to understand how you use these? I imagine I need something to cut the image out?? Do I just use scissors? Thank you
Hello! These are digital cut files that you download to your computer and cut using a die cutting machine, like the Silhouette Cameo for example, which you can purchase at Michaels. But you can most certainly save the image above on your computer as a jpeg, print it out and cut it by hand. Works too!
Thank you.. I dont have a Silhouette.. Thanks for the ‘how to’..
I love this cut file Nicole! And the layouts you’ve shown give inspiration on how to use it! Thanks!
This is such a beautiful design !! Thanks for your generosity !
