Hi there! It’s Bobbi Lemanski from BobbiHartDesign.com for Honey Bee Stamps. What better time to get in shape than the new year? Today’s cards are all about “getting in SHAPE” with the new Bee Mine Release from Honey Bee Stamps. I’ve got four shaped cards that use new clever die designs and fun coordinating stamps for Valentine’s Day and all year through.

Card 1: Blown Away Using the Mountain Z-Fold Die

My first card uses the Mountain Z-Fold Die. This die is a clever tri-fold design allowing the trees, mountains, clouds and sky to show from the front. I’ve paired this card base with the stamp sets, Up, Up and Away stamp and die sets for the hot air balloons and the Blown Away stamp and die sets for the banner and words inside.

Card 2: Paper Hugs with the Post Box Card Base

Sometimes our only option is to send paper hugs and kisses to our distant loved ones. With the Post Box Card Base die set you can send the hugs, kisses, and the whole post box! I’ve loaded up this fun-shaped card with a bunch of Xs and Os . The phrases and scripty word, “Kisses” is from the Kiss Buzz Word stamp and die sets. I also used the “paper hugs” phrase from the set, Love Enclosed. The Xs and Os are from the set, XOXO Buzz Word die set. Did you notice the stitched hearts on the box? I used the Fluttering Hearts Pierced Cover Plate die for this design detail.

Card 3: Pocket Full of Love Card

The Pocket Full of Love card is in the shape of a pocket. I made this card so that it folds on top for a folded card and then added a v-shaped open pocket on the front. The Stacking Pockets die set has lots of different sized pockets to fit your project needs. The coordinating set, Pocket Full of Love stamp and die set includes great words, stitching, labels and fun designs to personalize your pockets, too.  I filled this card with many hearts from the Heartfelt stamp set. Each heart was die cut using the hearts from the Heartfelt Pocket die set. I lined my pocket with a gingham print from the Sweet on You 6” X 6” paper pad for a finished look.

Card 4: Bee Mine Bee Heart Card

My last card is a special one because it includes the Bee Mine FREE bee! This sweet Bee Mine stamp set and its coordinating dies are free with a qualifying purchase while supplies last. To make this card, I used the Pierced XOXO Hearts die set for the card base. I folded my cardstock and allowed my heart base die to “fall off” the top edge so that the folded edge would stay intact. For the front, I added the Fluttering By Cover Plate in white layered over the red heart card base and pieced some colored hearts back into the background. The bee is popped up with an Action Wobble so that it flies (well wobbles. ????)

Now it’s your turn to get in shape in the new year! Go ahead and shop now and have fun making shaped cards this year. Here’s links to the Honey Bee Stamp store and the Bee Mine release.
