We are on day five of nine of our 9th birthday celebration! Loving all the comments and loving that we can all celebrate together. Today design team member Sheri Reguly is here to share a sweet birthday layout! Our friends from Core'dinations, Maya Road and Freckled Fawn are here to share in a sweet "loot bag" too!
"Hello, and welcome to SCT’s 9th birthday celebration! In honour of this special occasion, I created a birthday themed layout to share with you today.
Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: Crate Paper, Studio Calico, Pink Paislee; Vellum: American Crafts; Wooden Veneer Stars: Studio Calico, Fabric Covered Brad: Crate Paper; Sticker: Pebbles; Paper Doily: Doodlebug Designs; Enamel Dots: My Mind’s Eye
I incorporated Nicole’s fun cutting file into my design, but in a little bit of a different way. I simply printed a couple of the images onto patterned paper using black ink to mimic a stamped effect. I then used a basic triangle die to cut around the images. The addition of three plain triangles, topped with wooden veneer stars, contributes to create a playful pattern!
