Holiday Decor with free cut file!

Holiday Decor with free cut file!

Hi there SCT friends! Nicole here today to share a fun holiday home decor project that you can do in just a few minutes!

Gather together a wood plank from our friends at Jillibean Soup, some paint, adhesive vinyl and a few holiday decor items.

Paint the wood plank the colour of your choice and set aside to dry.

While it is drying diecut the “JOY” sentiment from adhesive backed vinyl.

Once your wood plank is completely dry, adhere the vinyl sentiment to the top of the wood, using Transfer Tap to easily align in place.

I replaced the “O” in JOY with a floral home decor item I picked up at the local craft store to add a little holiday sparkle to my project.

You can sand down the edges of your project a little to give it a homemade, or washed out look!

This is a great easy last minute project you can create for yourself or a gift for a friend or neighbour too!

Supplies: Jillibean Soup: Wood Plank, paint; Silhouette: Adhesive Vinyl; Other: holiday sprigs

Here is a free cut file to download, so you can create your own JOY DIY project too!
