“Happy interNational Scrapbook Day! Whether we are cardmakers, scrapbookers, stampers, mixed media artists etc. it’s wonderful to celebrate everyone’s creativity on this special day!
Today I’m sharing a travel scrapbook page using one of my favourite shapes, clouds! I love using clouds on cards and layouts to enhance the happiness feel of my projects.
Supplies: Patterned Paper: Simple Stories, Bella Blvd.; Embellishments: Simple Stories; Electronic cutting files: Doodlebug (by Lori Whitlock)
Clouds can be a great embellishment opportunity! I used one large cloud for my journaling, created ‘cloud flags’ of the two countries I visited on my trip, and applied clear travel sticker sentiments to the remaining cloud outlines.
Thanks for the dropping by for our interNational Scrapbook Day celebration, hope you can carve out a little time for yourself today to get crafty!”
~ Virginia Nebel
